Our location: Our LAHS NJROTC unit is based at the Pueblo Complex in Los Alamos, New Mexico. The Pueblo Complex is located directly off of diamond after Orange St. We are at an altitude of about 7,500 ft above sea level. This factor helps us train and to get into shape. Not only are we in high altitude, but we are located in the mountains. This is an excellent place for our orienteering team to practice. We currently compete in several national competitions that take place in our home town (Rendija Canyon). Our town is home to the Los Alamos National Laboratory, birth place of the first atomic bomb. We work hand-in-hand with the Lab's Protective Force in events such as colorguards for Memorial and Veteran's Day.

Our Unit Cohesiveness: The way our unit runs is in the hands of our leaders. Our Staff are tought to push the envelope on professionalism. Each staff position has a specific purpose. If one staff member neglects to do their assigned job, the entire unit pays for their ignorance. At LAHS we have one of the best running NJROTC programs in the state thanks to our honest and dedicated cadet staff.

The Staff Mission: The objective of our cadet staff is to provide a high quality, well oiled, and machine like unit and reliable service for our peers. The LAHS NJROTC staff is here for the benefit of the unit. The staff runs the entire unit from uniforms to cadets medical release forms.
